Pacman was born a healthy Salt River Wild Horse but something bad happened to him. It could have been some barbed wire or some brush that he injured himself on, but he subsequently developed infections in his joints and started losing a lot of weight. A kind hiker called the SRWHMG emergency number (480 868 9301) when they found Pacman. Our field team set out with the hikers to find little Pacman who couldn’t keep up with his band anymore.  We rescued Pacman and got him to the equine hospital.  Please help us to be able to afford to save little Pacman’s life.  A donation of any size will help Pacman!  Thank you!

HELP SAVE LITTLE PACMAN!

Update: Pacman has been released from the equine hospital after 3 weeks of intensive iv antibiotics and is now in the cooler climate of Prescott, together with his cousin Rosco and nurse mare April. He is not out of the woods yet as his bone abscess may or may not need surgery. Without your help we could not do this, we appreciate any small amount which makes a big difference.

Luckily Pacman has no broken bones.  The bandages are there to help the swelling in his joints and to have his IV readily available for his antibiotics.
