This is his horrific journey, which would have ended on the slaughter truck, since it was Tye Hayes, a notorious kill buyer with his truck ready to go to Mexico, who was bidding against us.

Now?

They’re standing under tall trees at Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary, with a huge pile of hay in front of them — no shouting, no fear…and they’ll never go without water or food again.

You can see it in their eyes — they’re starting to recuperate and slowly believe they are safe.
