What You Can Do

Homepage What You Can Do

The Salt River Wild Horse Management Group (SRWHMG) monitors and documents the Salt River wild horses, fights for their permanent protection,  rescues suffering horses when needed, and makes safety improvements to their habitat.

A bill was passed with the intent to protect the horses, but  MOU’s (Memorandum of Understanding) have not been signed yet for their humane management and many things can still go wrong.

Here’s what YOU can do to help us be their voice!;

  • Like and share our Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram, the more people join the movement, the more powerful we stand.
  • Contact your legislators in support of federal protection for the Salt River wild horses in their habitat, they need to hear from you.
  • Donate to the SRWHMG so that we can keep up this fight until they are safe.
  • Sponsor a Salt River wild horse!
  • Buy a wild horse CD by Dolan Ellis 100% goes to the SRWHMG!
  • Buy a beautiful wild horse print or canvas, proceeds go to the SRWHMG.
  • Become a volunteer! Please send an email to saltriverherd@respect4horses.com and we will invite you to our next volunteer orientation meeting!
  • Spread the word of mouth that these horses need to be protected! Ask all of your friends and neighbors and family to do all of the above.

Thank you for your tremendous support, please keep it up until the Salt River wild horses are permanently safe!
