Alpine Wild Horse Fund

Alpine Horse Fund

The Salt River wild horses were saved in the nick of time, but sadly, not all wild horse herds are as fortunate. Some Forest Service regions are not humane and not sensible. The Alpine wild horses in Northeastern Arizona are at this very moment being removed by the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service, and are being sold online. Even this weekend, there will be a public auction with no limitations on slaughter.

It is an outrage how these historic horses are going from their home on our public lands, to ripped away from their families and homeless, with the worst possible fate looming.

We need funds so we can bail out more of these precious horses, and pay for their transport and find them good homes. The situation is truly desperate.

We are working with a coalition of horse advocates and sanctuaries called the #Alpinewildhorsearmy.

The average price per horse to get out is 300 dollars, can you help save one, or even a partial this Christmas?
