Someone sent a text to our hotline, with a picture of a paint horse. But ofcourse we have no paint horses in the Salt River Herd, so we called AZDA, and jumped into action immediately! Watch as volunteers respond with compassion, urgency and professionalism. This beautiful horse went from alone and afraid, to safety and love at SRWHMG!

💔Domestic horses are not equipped to survive in the wild. Abandonment means slow starvation! Does anyone recognize this horse? He is pretty distinct.

This is just one example of how we respond humanely and rapidly to emergency calls. If we did not have our hotline, this horse would have cruelly starved, thank you for the text!
