💞🐴Happy Friday, Happy Bear Update!

We asked Bear, (an Alpine wild horse with a long history), an important question, and with that one look he gave -did you see it- it’s as if he truly answered. It’s in moments like this, that we know without a doubt, that all the hard work is worth it. All the slander and the lies about us, we couldn’t give two cares about it, because this is all the reward we will ever need.

We need to ask you the same question, and we don’t mean this against any good home for wild horses, because we love good homes, but we need your vote on something.

Jackie’s stated opinion is that “it’s a waste of a good horse to be turned out to pasture”.

She kicked us out of her “public” auctions and kept the “good” horses, like Bear, for herself, and took the ones she didn’t want, to the horrid auctions in Texas. If you watched our previous videos you can see how she was trying to turn Bear into a “saddle” horse in one weekend, and how starved he was. The old cowboy training method used, did not take the horse into account at all, and forced him into sheer helplessness and fear.

We were desperate to try to buy him, but she continued to refuse to sell Bear to us, because “he had to go to ranchers that ride em”. (See our video of that day).

But, we never gave up, and neither did our supporters. Eventually, through a secret buyer, and sheer perseverance, we purchased Bear. We then proceeded to find all of his mares at the Texas auctions and reunited Bear with them at Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary! Working together with Kourtney, we had to ask the public for funds for transport, gelding, vet care, feed, and to take care of them for the rest of their lives, and we worked out butts off. Miraculously, YOU, -so many of YOU came through for him and the rest of the beautiful Alpines! It is not cheap to continue to operate a sanctuary, but whats so amazing is that no one had to spend a lot, when all gave a little!

So here he is. Now what we want to know is, was it all worth it?

Would Bear (and the rest of the Alpine wild horses) be happier as a ranch horse living in confined spaces, waiting for when someone wants to ride him, or win some ribbons, or is he happier now, back to his wild roots, his family, and his leadership role? We asked Bear himself, and with that one look, -did you see it? – it’s as if he answered!

But we also want to know from you, @topfans please let us know what your vote is for the wild horses we all love and cherish.
SRWHMG OR JACKIE?

And then also share with your friends please.

Forever dedicated, forever grateful, SRWHMG.
