🐴 QUESTION: ISN’T IT BETTER TO FEED WILD HORSES TEMPORARILY IN THE WILD, THAN TO REMOVE THEM AND FEED THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES?
We have been feeding the Salt River wild horses throughout the drought, without holding a fundraiser, but we now urgently need help paying for our last TWO semiloads of hay. Thanks to 120 generous supporters so far, we have raised $5,500 , but we still need almost $11,000!
❤️ We believe keeping them wild is worth the effort and expense, but ..we cannot do it alone! If everyone who loves these horses donated just ONE bale of hay ($20, including delivery to the horses), we are sure we would never run out! It would make an enormous difference. Please help us finish this feed season and keep the Salt River wild horses where they belong — WILD AND FREE!

As this little video explains, we feed 268 wild horses every day during feed season; one bale per band ; one flake per horse. This program bridges the drought and makes it possible for these horses to remain wild and free, instead of being removed and fed in captivity for the rest of their lives. This program also serves to take pressure off the environment, and to enable wild horses to use their entire habitat instead of concentrate in the riparian area. Thank You for supporting our programs.
📌 Sharing is encouraged, it really helps! THANK YOU SO MUCH. SRWHMG.
