Okay everyone, hold your horses, we are just trying to help solve a terrible situation for 6 horses who are all mixed up. Read our post, there are no attacks there, even says how great these 2 rescues are and who’s fault it really is: the contractors fault 100%.

However, It’s never a solution to be defensive and go on the attack to deflect from the issue. But that was their response, sadly. We just thought we could talk about the issue, but now its all about bashing and calling donations into question. So now we have to address that.

To reiterate if you did not see it, we shared all of the rescues fundraisers equally at the same time, because we didn’t know another way to make it the most fair. No rescue ever shares another rescues fundraisers, but we do, because its not about the money. If you’ll recall we have 18 alpines ourselves we raised only $300 per horse for and we took them anyway, but now we are full, like many other rescues. The total saved through blood sweat and tears is now 374. The Alpines are costing us dearly, but they are worth it.

We also welcome all the rescues to post their updates on the ALPINE Advocates page and they can post their fundraisers there too, we are all about follow up for donaters and supporting the rescues.

That’s what our fundraiser was about, the one for 6500, where we clearly said we would help each rescue with feed costs, and everyone can see the total. The funds have not come in yet, but we have already helped some with the feed costs by directly paying feedstores. That’s how you have to do it to be fair nowadays. We don’t give out cash anymore as that has landed in the wrong hands before. Each pair of horses will get an equal part of those fundraiser dollars, exactly how it was spelled out.

So in the mean time with all the bickering there’s still there’s no solution for these 6.

Only one mare and foal pair is correct, Roulette’s, but that poor mare is now having to feed two foals, which is also not fair for her, as she is emaciated, and her own foal will be getting less milk. The “stepfoal” is at high risk of getting trampled , which you can clearly see in their unloading video, where Roulette already jumps on the stepfoal because she would never jump on her own foal.

We are not saying these things to bash anyone, that’s NOT the purpose, this is simply a PLEA to make it right.

The worst off is Willow, who had the very last thing she had left in the world, taken from her.
So we can post a hole bunch of screenshots of what occurred privately, but the only relevant ones are here. These are very respectful discussions. After we all figured out how they fit together exactly, the plan at first was to unload them, but then somehow that changed. You can see where Simone is politely asking if they could put them all together, when they were still in the SAME trailer, but then there was silence, until the horses had already left and were already split up.
After they had already split , Simone said “how can we solve this.”

That’s all this is about. How do we solve this.

Sadly then cane deflecting attacks there after, as an answer.

That’s a shame. Because we all know who benefits when rescues infight. It’s stupid to fight the ones on your same side of the playing field, so we might just have to let this be what it is.
The actual solution would have been pretty low risk, so we hope they might still consider this: Quarantine the horses all together at red feather where the 2 pairs already are, and we will pay for the transport of the one pair. Then after all are healthy, take a correct pair (we don’t care which one) to Rising Star.

No one needs to bash anyone or deflect from the issues with accusations. It’s a disagreement. Don’t be petty. We can find your haters too, but It’s about the horses.
