Thank you for supporting humane wild horse management, especially if you donated this giving Tuesday!
What does humane wild horse management mean? It means that we no longer have 100 foals per year, we now have just a few. It means that we get to watch them grow up wild and free instead of being sold at kill buyer auctions across the country. But, it also means that we have to ask for funds from the public because we promised to manage the horses for the public and by the publuc and we are not funded by any government agencies. Our programs are very expensive and unfortunately we did not reach our goal of 3 semiloads of hay this giving Tuesday, only one truckload is funded. Yet our feed program has to go on, until we get rain again. Please comments for how you can become a Salt River guardian! Thank you everyone!
