Warning, not for the faint of heart. Wild Horse Management is not easy (nor cheap). In the wild, with a large herd, there are always very tough decisions to be made.

We are considering rescuing Wind, and are discussing it with the AZDA.

Wind has been deteriorating for the past few months. Please listen to Simone tell his story and let us know what you think.

1. We would need your support and we would also need funds for xrays and veterinary care, if we decided to rescue.
2. The other option is to do nothing, which we have done for the past 10 years since his injury, because he was doing just fine, but we do believe he is in pain now. We cannot treat him in the wild, because that is not authorized under our contract.
3. The last option would be euthanize him in the field in a humane way.
