😲 Did You Know? This is how fast foals (baby horses) can grow in just 7 weeks! 👶🐴
The first photo 👇 was taken on little Cody’s very first day of life, born in the wild on the Salt River, Arizona, April 20, 2026. The second was taken on June 14, 2026. 📅 He isn’t even 2 months old yet! (he will be in just 3 days).
👀Besides for the amazing growth and color change you can see, there’s much more that you cannot see. In less than 8 short weeks, Cody has learned the ways of the wild👇
️
✅ ️🌿 He knows what to eat (eelgrass) and what to avoid (poisonous weeds). He knows how to be highly aware (when to run and when to play). He knows the hierarchy of every horse in his family band, (who he can mess with and who he can’t). And he knows the rythm of the desert, with all of its creatures in it.

️
✅ 📸 He has also become familiar with the funny creatures standing around with black clicking boxes pointed at him. He has learned not to be scared, but also knows how to keep a respectful distance!
️
✅💪 He already has the strength to walk 5 miles a day, swim against very strong currents, and run as fast as the adults, over challenging rocky terrain, through trees with sharp branches and cacti everywhere.
️
✅🩷In just 55 days of life, Cody has experienced things many horses never will: the sweetness of a loving big family, the joy of true freedom, and the beauty of a natural wild life, lived exactly as horses were meant to.
️
✅☝️But it also isn’t always easy. He has experienced trauma on his first day, of being stepped on and becoming seperated from his mom, (only to be reunited by SRWHMG).
‼️He has also; nearly drowned, battled annoying biting flies, endured a painful eye infection ( that is thankfully healing), and faced the relentless 110-degree Arizona desert heat.🌞
🐎Every day is a lesson. Every day is a wild adventure. Every day is precious.
🌏 ❤️ May he stay forever free, enjoyed and loved by Arizonans and people from around the world!
Swipe to see the incredible transformation, and please like and share to give him your voice.
⚠️ Please always stay a respectful 50 ft from wild horses, for their safety, and yours.
