Our president Simone Netherlands built this barn to import and train Friesian horses from Holland, which she did from 2001 to 2006, but then she learned about the atrocities that befall American wild horses and other unfortunate equines in the slaughter pipeline. After 2006 this beautiful barn started filling with horses who would have otherwise died a sad death. Today it includes BLM wild horses from Nevada, wild horses from the Tohona Odham reservation, 5 rescued Salt River wild horses, 2 bands of Alpine wild horses, 4 Black Mountain Burros, one abandoned horse from the TNF, a racehorse, a Morgan horse and April, the retired surrogate mare to Rosco and Pacman.

We are thankful for the free use of her property, because our SRWHMG facility on the Beeline is full. The rain is pounding on the roof and the wind is howling, but the horses are comfy! Thank you everyone for your support and stay warm!

Thank you SRWHMG
