It’s so disturbing that in this day and age callous brutal wild horse shootings continue year after year, without any investigations amounting to anything. It is notable that these incidents seem to occur every January. The timing raises questions, what could it mean?Past patterns suggest additional shootings might happen again within few weeks. A law enforcement presence would seem of utmost urgency at this time.

We’ve heard various things circulating, but the lack of resolution feels familiar, particularly in light of the 2022 killings of more than 50 Alpine wild horses, which we investigated closely.

In that case, we were there, when the horses were buried by the Apache–Sitgreaves National Forest the very next day. Even now, it leaves lingering questions about what information may have been lost along the way. Killings of entire families, what panick and horror must have ensued, and what a monster this person or persons must be. May he/they be caught and their charges brought forward and added up over the years.
