Update!! All 45 mares, foals, yearlings and stallions (now geldings) who were saved at the Bowie livestock auction, by the combined rescue efforts of ASIAB, SRWHMG and RTF are doing great! They were luckily already used to very cold weather in Alpine. They will be staying in their huge arenas with ASIAB in Texas, until the spring, when they can be transported safely. Return to Freedom is still taking in these horses and they are also taking in Coronado’s band, which we are so thankful for. Thank you dear supporters! It’s important to all creatures to be stayin’ alive!
