3.5 miles from our property on our side! Our volunteers had an impressive response getting to our property, and Forest Service and Frt McDowell Fire had an impressive response time and did not give it a chance to go anywhere! Thank you!

Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire along SR 87 near MM 193. The #HondaFire burned .7 acres before crews stopped its forward rate of spread. Fountain Hills Fire Department and Fort McDowell Fire Department worked with Mesa Ranger District fire crews to extinguish the fire and keep it from spreading.
