Salt River foals are afraid to stick their faces under water and they take the eelgrass from their momma’s and other band members until they learn to do it themselves between one and two years of age. Splendor, who comes in at the end of the video is one and a half yrs old now, has not learned as of yet, but maybe soon!
Momma Spring gets to keep only one third of what she harvests! LOL
