Contractor for the Forest Service sabotaged any attempt from us to save these horses

We’ve identified most of the Alpine wild horses who arrived at the Texas Bowie auction yesterday who will be sold tomorrow. We are not posting names for fear they will be bid up out of spite. We will disclose the amazing stories about these beautiful resilient horses after the auction.

UPDATE: After communicating with practically every wild horse organization in America, we are going to support the fundraiser of: All seated in a barn. (Thalia) and Return to Freedom who will provide their happily ever after. They have promised to work with us on trying to keep the families together and the babies back to their mothers, but the first order of the day will be getting these cherished horses, who have already been through hell and back, safe. We are grateful that with less than 24 hours to go, everyone will be working together. Please support All seated in a barn.

Jackie Hughes, owner of Rail Lazy H*, contractor for the Forest Service, has so far sabotaged any attempt from us to save these horses and has refused any offers, with no other explanation than personal issues and spite and hate.

She makes many astounding false claims without any proof, which are very easily disproven with videos we will post. This is a story of a master manipulator. She is making millions under her contract with the Apache Sitgreaves NF to remove all remaining wild horses spanning 3 ranger districts and a million acres.

From day one she has tried to ruin our programs for the Salt River wild horses as our Salt River wild horse Liaison, by spreading an incredible amount of complete fabrications. When she was unsuccessful at this, she set her sights on the rest of Arizona’s wild horses, working together with Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service officials within, and hunting associations, as well as the center for Biological Diversity, as well as, believe it or not some very gullible horse advocates. Inexplicably these “advocates” seem to believe she is somehow the victim in this scenario and are consciously or unconsciously, helping her achieve her goals of eradicating every last wild horse in Arizona, including the Heber herd.
Jackie’s friends at the CBD, plaintiffs in the lawsuit against the Salt River River wild horses, had 30 days from October 31st to refile their complaint against the Tonto National Forest and that time was up yesterday. YES the lawsuit against the Salt River wild horses was fully DISMISSED!! It is done. And we are 100% grateful to the Tonto National Forest who did not falter, and continues to chose the humane route to managing wild horses. ( through humane fertility control instead of sending horses to slaughter. )

The contrast with the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service could not be any starker. While the Salt River wild horses are peacefully living their lives where the public can enjoy them, the Alpine wild horses are standing at a slaughter auction with a fate so horrific we want to spare you from describing it. This was entirely avoidable had the Forest Service seen through the master manipulation of Jackie Hughes and taken meetings with us.

Backed by the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service, Jackie now managed to get these horses so far away from us that there appears to be no chance left to save them.

We have had no offers of temporary holding so far from anyone in Texas. We do not know anyone there. (See update about Allseatedinthebarn)

Jackie is still claiming she is somehow still safeguarding the well being of these horses and anyone who believes her at this point should know they are on the wrong side of history helping her to eliminate all wild horses from the Arizona landscape.

We hope you help us make phonecalls far and wide to media, to legislators and to the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service Chief Randy Moore.

At this point with just 24 hours left, only a community that comes together as one, can save these horses from live butchering in Mexico.

Thank you everyone, SRWHMG.
