Cutting in and out a little bit with this live feed, but documenting what a wild night it is! Our Road Patrol was driving up and down Bush Hwy, like normal, when a horse appeared in the middle of the road. Normally that means we call in our reinforcements and get the horse safely back behind the fence…

But wait a second- we know each and every Salt River wild horse and this is NOT one of them! How did this domestic emaciated horse appear here between 6.30 and 7.30 pm?

Update: We got her safely to our property and she is very happily eating and drinking. We will work with the AZDA Salt River Horse Herd, and hold her fir 7 days while an owner may come forward. Her condition is very poor and she will get a closer assessment tomorrow.
