Felicity & Foal
Felicity, the young mare who was rescued from the canal last year, is pregnant! Her survival from this horrific ordeal is miraculous as she was in the canal for over 6 hours and had to be lassoed out of it. She was close to drowning and was unconscious for 10 minutes after the fire fighters pulled her to dry ground. The fact that she was pregnant at the time makes this rescue even more amazing.
We do not know when it will come but she is extremely round!! We have prepared her stall for the birth with rubber sidewalls and a nice layer of clean pine shavings. We will need sponsors for this baby! With your donation/sponsorship, please participate in guessing when the foal will be born! The correct guess of date and gender will be welcomed at our facility for an afternoon, you will meet the foal and get a photo opportunity with him/her.
Thank you so much for your support! Without you these wild horses would not be alive and well today.
