Wild horses perform fire abatement FOR FREE for the state of Arizona! Our area is under such extreme fire risk because of the huge amount of fire fuels, like tinder, combined with the huge amount of forest visitors, of which it takes only one dumb one!

The wild horses keep all of us much safer by eating the dried weeds and brush, which reduces the risk of wildfires, and also, when a fire does start, it reduces the severity and the spread of it.

FYI Last night’s Phon D Fire was in an area where horses no longer live! Wild horse fire abatement is a REAL benefit saving the state of Arizona millions of Dollars. Fewer wild horses is less fire abatement and also less Salt River maintenance! (eelgrass eating)
