Managing wild horses for the public and by the public; here’s how we pull it off!

We want to thank you all so much for donating to our programs for the Salt River wild horses! Including our live Breyer auction yesterday we raised $14,000 on Giving Tuesday, which means we almost reached our goal of 2 semiloads of hay ($18,000). Sadly, Facebook sabotaged our fundraiser by not making it shareable, so not all of our supporters could find it! If this is your first time seeing it, please know that we also take

From the very beginning we’ve said if the government is not going to manage these horses, then the public will do it with donations from the public. It is because we offer humane management for free to the state of Arizona, that the horses are able to stay in their natural environment where they belong. The AZDA is a great partner in humane wild horse management.

Of course, it is not an easy feat to raise enough money to keep our programs running smoothly, but for almost a decade now, we are pulling it off, for the public and by the public!

The Salt River wild horses mean everything to us and to millions of people. If you care 5 dollars worth about them, you can still help us get to our goal and be a part of keeping them here! We need to keep our programs running, so they can keep running free!

THANK YOU is an understatement, because without our supporters, they simply would be…nowhere. Thank You. 💕

*We need one semiload for our rescues, 24 Salt River wild horses and 18 Alpine wild horses. We also need one semiload for the Salt River wild horse supplemental feed program. (You can buy one bale of hay for one family band.)
