Have you contacted SRP to ask for 100CFS minimum for the lower Salt River?
October 7th
Have you contacted SRP to ask for 100CFS minimum for the lower Salt River? Thank you! If not, would you take just 5 minutes to do this tomorrow? We need to drown the SRP corporate board in emails and calls. Pun intended.
Sticking to an environmentally responsible minimum of 100 CFS, would only be 92 CFS more, for only a couple of weeks every winter. This amounts to a small difference for them, but it would make all the difference for the horses, for aquatic life and the entire ecosystem.
Please do write a short polite email putting it in your own words, and send it to:
SRP corporate secretary: John.Felty@srpnet.com
Ask him to forward your request for 100CFS minimum, to the entire board of directors.
Please also make a quick phonecall this week to the corporate secretary (602) 236-4398 and explain that you are an SRP customer who cares about an environmental minimum for the lower Salt River. Keep it short and polite but don’t forget to ask to forward your concerns to the entire board.
Together as a community we are calling for some goodwill towards the environment and ecosystem of the lower Salt River.
As you know, we always stay polite and respectful in our requests and protections for the Salt River wild horses, and our true supporters have the same attitude.
Want to do more? You can also post your opinion about this to your own wall with tags #srpconnect #srp
You can also post your request as a comment on SRP’s Facebook page and Twitter and Instagram and Yelp and Google and wherever else you think will be effective. Click here for their Facebook page.
Here are also tags for the boardmembers of SRP: coreyhawkey4az, @jrhoopessrp, @dxrousseau, @keithforsrp, @NickBrownAZ, and @PaulRovey
Together, we know we can make all the difference. Sincerely, SRWHMG.
