Here they are, their beautiful faces on this sale website.
Their idyllic lives in a forest of abundance, stolen from them by the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service. From the most peaceful happy lives with their families in the wild, to homeless, their eventual fate unknown.
We’ve recognized a few of them from our database already, but its tricky, because we don’t know them by heart like our Salt River wild horses, and they have not been kept together in their original bands, so we have to search horse by horse.
Do you know anyone who will give them a soft landing? They can register on this website, the bidding starts tomorrow and ends Monday morning. Pickup of the horses is at the Navajo County Fairgrounds in Holbrook.
If you dont, you can still help. Don’t feel powerless, together we have power and it will continue to escalate. Contact your legislators. You have state legislators and congressional legislators. Call them, email them and visit them. Call your favorite news station. We will do the rest, but we need the calls first. Be the change. Be the drop that tips the bucket. Do it for the faces that are on this this auction sale website.
