Last year, hundreds of people came together for the ride for the Salt River wild horses, which has been taking place for the past 5 years. We did not know how lucky we were; having that much fun, with that many people, all while raising money for the horses. Last year just this event raised over $12,000!! (Thanks to organizer Skeeter Peak!)
The Ride for the Salt River wild horses had to be canceled due to Covid of course, along with other events, and that has been quite detrimental to our important programs, including our rescue program, our feed program and our fertility control program.
Some riders still took the ride separately today and Superstition Harley-Davidson still had a SRWHMG merchandise booth, which we want to thank them for! (and we will post pictures as soon as they come in. )
We have not figured out yet how to turn these events into fun virtual events, but that is the task upon us. We want to give a great big hug to everyone in this picture and to all of our loyal supporters! We miss you!
Just in case anyone wants to donate anyway, we added a donate link on this post. The amount you donate does not matter, but the fact that you do, and the fact that you support the Salt River wild horses, means absolutely everything.
Thank you, SRWHMG.
