🚨 TOTAL OUTRAGE! UNEXPECTED ALPINE HORSE AUCTION! 🚨
Once again, Jackie Hughes and the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest are back at it, sending Alpine horses to slaughter auctions — and it’s absolutely deplorable.

🐴 TONIGHT — July 9th — Alpines, 6 of them, will be sold at the infamous disgusting Cleburne Auction, where many Alpine wild horses have gotten sick and died, and there is no time to save them! But we’ll still try!

💥->This is a Desperate Fundraiser and call for help!!

The required public sales notice was at the Alpine post office, on July second, signed by the new Forest Supervisor on July 1st. It was easy to miss! But — we still have an open court case and our attorney is on it, asking for more time for these horses. BUT YOU can help too:

👉 These seem like deliberate actions to hide these removals and sales, going beyond just not working with, but even denying advocates the chance to help these poor horses.

(Jackie Hughes can bash us on social media every day, but keep to herself that Alpine wild horses are going to auction, talk about transparency!)

These are historic wild horses, that used to live around the Coronado trail, the very trail where Coronado left them 450 years ago!, dumped at auction— AGAIN. And now the same person responsible — Jackie Hughes — appears to be lined up by the FS to oversee the Salt River wild horses?? It’s insane. It’s cruel. And we cannot let it happen!!

👉 “Don’t let the Alpine wild horses leave on a slaughter truck tonite! Work with horse advocates — and DO NOT hire the same cruel person (Jackie Hughes) to remove the Salt River wild horses! Humane management is the only way to go!
