Please be aware! “Arizona Salt River Wild Horses” Facebook page is not us!

😠This woman in the picture with her middle finger up to us, while luring a Salt River wild horse with hay in her backpack, started a Facebook page which is now easily confused with ours, where many false claims about Lainey are being made, because they know people really care. ⚠️Please be aware!

Her name is Debbie Ashley and in the comments we will place a screenshot of the page she manages, where she disseminates false information and feigns expertise. Many people join this page and believe it is run by us or by someone who cares about the horses!

During our very difficult time, they actually dare to claim that our organization is responsible for Lainey’s disappearance, which is particularly low and mean, but it gets attention, which is what some people will do anything for.

So please don’t be fooled, if you love the Salt River wild horses we beg you to be diligent in distinguishing our official pages from impersonator pages. They actually hinder our efforts to preserve the Salt River wild horses’ freedom! Just ask any page if they support SRWHMG and if not, please unlike and unfollow! (Also see screenshot of the “bad” page for clarification, in comments)

Lastly, regardless of what some people say, please rest assured that we have not abandoned our search efforts, and remain committed to finding Lainey and getting answers! Your support means everything to us and to the horses, THANK YOU!

——

We are an accredited 501(c) 3 non profit organization dedicated to the protection and humane management of the Salt River wild horses and wild horses everywhere.

We manage the horses under a zero dollar contract with the AZDA. We receive no government grants, which is why we need your support to carry out our important programs, which keep the Salt River wild horses wild and free.

P.S. If anyone is wondering why anyone would be so mean and disparaging while we work our butts of every day, please recognize that when a topic garners significant attention, such as the Salt River wild horses, numerous individuals have a motive to feign expertise and fabricate concerns, because it makes them feel important and “better”, without ever having to lift a finger.
