We knew it couldn’t be good when he was not with his band, so we put a huge search together and did it systematically, because we would rather know what happened, than always have to wonder. Our worst fears were realized today when we found him; It was the mountain lion again!

We thought with so many aunties and the horses sticking together in numbers, that the babies would be ok, but the mountain lion apparently outsmarts them.

We are SO sorry to be the bearers of bad news. We are SO sad. Let’s all have strength in each other and use our love for these horses for positive change for all wild horses in his name. Rest in Peace beautiful special boy.
