We are just devastated. Cris, our property manager, another important and beloved member of our SRWHMG family, has passed away in the hospital 💔
Cris was our horse whisperer. She had the gift with animals, and was trained in natural horsemanship by Simone. She was one of our certified PZP darters, and she was part of every other aspect of SRWHMG; including our field team, our emergency team, our feed team, etc.

While battling breast cancer she moved to Arizona specifically to help make a difference for our beautiful Salt River Wild horses. She was a true warrior and didn’t let cancer define her….Shadowfax will miss his best friend so much, and so will we all. Our thoughts are with her kids and grandkids. This video is how we will forever remember Cris.
