Oh dear supporters, how we wanted to bring you good news, how we wanted it to be different. Our search has ended and our hopes extinguished, with the sight of this tiny little hoof sticking out of a huge pile of sand. 😭

We could not be more sorry, we could not be more sad for this most precious of babies ever, her innocent sparkling happy life, extinguished by nature. While it was extremely difficult to find her, it was not difficult to conclude what happened. She lays buried in a pile of sand with mountain lion paw prints and many horse hoofprints around her.

We know a million hearts are breaking and a trillion tears are flowing right now. Please don’t leave us as the news is not always bad. Nature does not always suck, but right now it does.

Let’s support each other like Lainey’s parents are doing naturally, the remarkable love between the two visible in this pic.

“Heavy hearts like heavy clouds are relieved by the letting of water.” It is ok to cry over one little foal, it means you have a heart.
