Can everyone see through this Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service and how they try to fool the public? In cahoots with the big hunting and ranching centers and associations, the 9200 animals like elk, deer, bighorn sheep and CATTLE are “authorized”, as opposed to the 400 wild horses who are “unauthorized”.
And who do you think makes those decisions of “authorizing”? That’s right the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service themselves! “We are looking at creative solutions” says the Deputy Forest Supervisor, Ericka Luna. That could not be farther from the truth, because SRWHMG has had 5 meetings bringing these creative solutions to the table like fencing wild horses out of sensitive areas and humane adoption and using humane birth control.
But the answer was no.
Read it and weep about the scapegoating and extermination of our historic Arizona wild horses. Then join us in our important mission of responsible, sustainable, fiscally cheap, and humane wild horse management.
