Salt River wild horses are real athletes and excellent swimmers, but there were some gut-wrenching moments this week!

The CFS (Cubic Feet per Second) from the Stewart Mountain Dam is finally getting back down to normal. No horses were hurt or have drowned as far as we know.

The powerful water changed the soft sloping banks into steep spots and ridges. (See previous video also).

We are doing a total count of horses just to make sure all are OK, and so far, all are good including our only foal Splendor!
