As we continue to challenge the removal of Salt River wild horses, we are also well-prepared to safeguard their well-being. We have acquired a new sanctuary property dedicated to providing a safe haven for injured and aging Salt River wild horses, as well as any slated for removal. Not a single donor fund was utilized for this purchase. It was made possible by the generous bequests of our three major benefactors which we combined in a land fund. They supported our mission and wanted a contingency plan for the Salt River wild horses. Unfortunately, circumstances have escalated more rapidly than anticipated, so we may need it sooner rather than later.
