UPDATES

June 5th

We are very sad to see our Liaison Makenzie move on in her career in law enforcement.

We have handled many challenging issues together and have truly enjoyed working with her so much over the past 3 years. We’ve appreciated her expertise and real understanding of wild horses and her kindness towards our volunteers.

We wish you the very best Makenzie, please come see us often as “just a friend”.

AZDA Salt River Horse Herd

Hello everyone! Makenzie here… I wanted to announce that I will be passing on the torch of the Salt River Horse Liaison. It is time for me to turn the page to a new chapter in life.

It has been an absolute honor and privilege to serve the great state of Arizona and the Salt River herd during these last three years. I have been blessed to meet many incredible people and experience these magical horses on an intimate level. I truly believe in this program and I know it will continue to flourish through the partnership with the AZDA, USFS, and SRWHMG.

Thank you for allowing me this honor.

💖(always a SRH supporter) Makenzie
