Who in the world was bidding against us? The more good homes the better!

November 21st

Update: we found out who and thank you for contacting us! The more good homes the better!

Who in the world was bidding against us? We wanted this pair badly because she and her beautiful foal are the last of Greer’s band, destined to be reunited with her original band, who were removed from the wild just this month and last month. They are going to live happily ever after now at Nirvana Sanctuary in Colorado! We did it! They ripped them apart; we put them back together!

We usually don’t bid this high and if there is a good home who wants Alpine wild horses, please do contact us, because there are lots more Alpine wild horses that need good homes!! We coordinate with all bidders so that no good homes bid against each other.

Please send us a message or call our hotline at (480) 868- 9301

We are growing the army for the alpine wild horses #Alpinewildhorsearmy and we are working together with wonderful new sanctuaries and good homes (we have vetted them) Thank you to Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary, thank you to @4hoovesranch, thank you to @moksha_sanctuary, and thank you advocates who are calling and fundraising for more good homes every day! @workingforsunshine and Arizona Wild Horses

We are also working with YOU our followers and we hate to ask for your help so much recently, but without funds we cannot perform these miracles!! ALL WERE SAVED THIS AUCTION!! Now on to transport to their forever homes! We need funds for that too! We have NOT reached our fundraising goals yet!

Donate to our Alpine Wild Horse Fund

Please go to the Alpine fund on our website www.srwhmg.org, or PayPal SaltRiverHerd@respect4horses.com, you can also assign us as your charity on smile.amazon and pick us as your charity this Giving Tuesday!

Flora and her baby were ripped out of their historic home in the Apache Forest by the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest, then they were separated from their family by the contractor Rail Lazy H, who refuses to keep the bands together for us, even while we are the ONLY customers buying these horses and we coordinate with all of the good homes we found who bid too.

Flora’s band members were sold during several separate auctions so it was extra difficult to find them, and some of them did not even have face pictures. But we did it anyway! They rip them apart, and we put them back together!! #shameonRailLazyH #shameonASNF #shameonASFS

P.S. We have offered humane management at no cost to this Forest Service, and it still stands, but they all would rather spend half a million dollars on doing it the cruelest way possible! They want the Apache Forest to be a cattle operation only, without any competition for forage. It is nothing short of pure exploitation of our public lands by the Forest Service themselves.

Join our Army for wild horses! Until we are invincible.
