Lead stallions know that bachelor stallions are looking for a mare or two of their own to start a band with. So the lead stallions have to stay vigilant in keeping them away from their mares.

This is lead stallion Hardy, telling 5 yr old bachelor stallion Huck to stay at the minimum allowed distance away from his band. All returned to peace after that.
