This is old lead stallion, King. We are happy to see him at a feed station. He may not be as popular as Shadowfax, but he is also a very cool old retired lead stallion.

His whole life we have seen him take care of his band vigilantly, day and night. At first when he lost his band, he looked depressed and skinny and then we did not see him for a while.

We are sure he missed his band, but life as a lead stallion is tough with a lot of responsibilities also. Now he seems to be doing very well on his own and he has not done any effort to find a new mare. It actually looks like he might be enjoying his leisurely retirement.
