Breaking News: This National Horse Protection Day, here’s a little bit of good news:
In the Forest Service’s attempt to defend against our TRO, they said — among other things — that there is no need for a TRO because they will not start removals themselves until July 15th. So no one has to fear removals tomorrow! Also the time for anyone to lie and “claim” horses as their own, is up. Little steps at a time… We Will Win the War for Wild Horses. #WWWWWH
The Forest Service also tried to skirt around the issue that they are letting these private individuals do whatever they want without oversight, but they also didn’t deny it. In our request we asked for a full accounting of those horses and for them to be returned and also that the pen on Forest Service land be immediately taken down.
While they are fighting hard, we promised our attorneys we would pay their retainers this week. If you can contribute even a little, please help show that we can do this all together!
We have raised 7,500 so far out of the 30,000 we need. Thank you to the 100 people who have already made a difference! But we have over 200.000 followers, imagine the legal war we could wage for all wild horses, if everyone contributed just 10 dollars? (That’s just one cup of coffee these days! )
We are under no hope that’s realistic, BUT if you are reading this and you are still on the fence, please let the rights of these WILD HORSES convince you to step over — to the right side of history! The Heber wild horses do not deserve to be shipped off to slaughter!

If everyone does just a little, no one has to do a lot!
This could be the most important battle for wild horses since 1971. Because if they get away with stripping all of their protections with one memo, you can be sure they will do the same in other areas all over the country.
This is where we stop it. Together.
Thank you everyone!
