We are launching this critical fundraising campaign to rescue more innocent Alpine wild horses from the Cleburne Auction this Wednesday October 30th!

 

They are victims of the ASNF prioritizing special interests over public interest in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. It is an outrage as 1700 cattle are authorized and 10.000 elk are allowed, but historic wild horses are unauthorized and removed at tax payer expense!

 

 

The trapsite was discovered this time between Crescent Lake and Big Lake, which makes us believe it is Fraser and Sassenach’s band with their young baby, plus likely the Big Lake bachelors, who have been captured. While they were roaming peacefully just 2 weeks ago, not harming anyone and not costing anyone a dime, taxpayer funds are now facilitating their transport to the virus infested Cleburne Auction in Texas.

 

Collaboration of SRWHMG with both Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary and P.A.W 4 The Foundation is vital to securing sanctuary for as many of these beautiful Alpine horses as possible!

 

Specifically, P.A.W 4 The Foundation now offers 300 Texas acres for 4 to 5 more horses, while Nirvana Mustang Sanctuary now provides 3000 acres for up to 25 more Alpine wild horses. Indicated on the USFS website, it could be up to 30 horses this auction!Unfortunately we won’t know until the day of, which makes fundraising very difficult and last minute!

 

This huge effort represents collective caring for the Alpine wild horses, not mass bailing! Your support is essential, as we cannot afford a PR firm, so YOU our supporters are it! Therefore please share this everywhere you can think of!

 

$3500 will ensure the safety of one majestic Alpine wild horse, reunifying it with its family! The $3500 is needed to cover their bail price, transport, quarantine, gelding, care and feed!
