Humane Fertility Control is an important part of wild horse management. Without this component we could not have saved the Salt River wild horses. From the very beginning we have said “there are better ways”. We’ve worked hard to solve every safety issue and every management issue in order to prevent their roundup and removal. In this process it’s been important to not just to complain, but also work WITH the government and the authorities, while at the same time still representing the public. It’s also important to put our money where our mouth is. The management of the Salt River wild horses is not costing the government or the taxpayer one dime. We have an amazing darting team that will execute and implement humane fertility control with the care and precision the Salt River wild horses deserve.
