We had an amazing weekend at the Lost Dutchman Days in Apache Junction!
March 1st
We continue to prove how much wild horses mean to Arizona and we continue to prove that the public can and will fund their humane management, so that Arizonans can enjoy wild horses for future generations to come.
As you know, our organization manages the Salt River wild horses humanely without ever having received an ounce of government funding or grants.
We want to thank Apache Junction for the overwhelming support and for buying our wild horse merchandise from our booth, we sold twice as much as in 2020!
We appreciate every dollar that is donated by the public and in addition we work very hard through our merchandising, to build a reserve that is highly needed. We need to be prepared for the dry summer season, and hay prices and all of our supplies are skyrocketing. We sold $5350 in horsey merchandise sales this weekend, which is 3/4 of a semiload of hay for the feed program!
We want to thank all of our dedicated volunteers for the making and buying of our merchandise and for manning and womanning of our booth plus all of the preparation and managerial work involved. Thank you to the management of Lost Dutchman Days also!
This year’s parade and booth season is now over, we had a great time while making money, making friends, and making a difference!
If you missed our booth, you can still support us by ordering horsey merchandise from our website! Anything and everything helps!
