Meet LIGHT RAIN & THUNDER! ⚡️

A proud new dad and his strong, healthy son who has already survived extreme Arizona heat and weather conditions. There is something incredibly meaningful about seeing a new generation born into the same landscape where their ancestors have roamed for centuries. They are a living remnant of the conquistador and pioneering history of Arizona!

The fact that you can still see them here today, is not just lucky, but hard earned by the citizens of Arizona, and by our organization doing the hard work to keep them here.

We want to thank Governor Hobbs and the board or regents for approving a genetic study on this cherished herd, which will be incredibly interesting and we are excited to work with the scientists.
