Recreational value, educational value! Ahwatukee Girl Scout Troop 3008 stopped by!
November 22nd
Wild horses have great value to our community, not only recreational value, but also educational value. The Salt River wild horses bring a great many people together for the cause and this in turn helps keep the Salt River clean.
We want to thank Ahwatukee Girl Scout Troop 3008 for coming on an educational hike to the wild horses with us. They combined the hike with picking up trash along the way, and will participate in upcoming river cleanups also.
The girls picked SRWHMG as the organization that they wanted to donate a portion of the proceeds from their cookie sales this year! Way to go young ladies! (Future leaders of SRWHMG?) Thank you! 💕
