UPDATE on our efforts of saving Hero’s band, Baldy’s band and Ridge’s band

A total of 25 Alpine wild horses, in this weekends online auction (please see latest post)
Exhausted from an overload of communication and lack of sleep, we want to let you know that we now have great hope, and believe that we can accomplish saving ALL 25 in this weekends auction, IF we can raise the enormous costs involved. This will not be an easy feat, BUT we had GREAT news from a BIG and Beautiful sanctuary, as well as from a few wonderful people with acreage! (we cannot reveal the details just yet.)
HOWEVER, there is one challenge, the needed funds will include not only their bail and transport, but also costs to cover a temporary quarantine facility, feed, health certificates and geldings, and a 10 hour long transport to their forever homes.
We don’t like to start raising funds until we have homes and logistics in order.
It will not be a small feat, but we worked very hard to find a way to get it done for around $10,000 for quarantine facility and feed, plus around $5,000 for transport! (Believe it or not, but that’s actually cheap.)
THANK YOU dear advocates for sharing our urgent plea 1600 times, we beg you to stay tuned for tomorrows Hero fundraiser to please share it just as many times! It warms our many broken hearts, that people from around the world care about the Alpine wild horses.
