This amazing person purchased a new property that she was planning to save wild horses on, as soon as she built her house next year, she said.
Well, but the Alpine wild horses don’t have until next year, and all the larger well-known sanctuaries had already told us no, because they were full and the rescue market is completely saturated. So we started reaching out to all corners of Arizona and explaining the urgency of this life and death matter for the Alpine wild horses.

So still living in her temporary trailer with her husband, foregoing themselves luxuries, they got to work immediately on fencing their 27 acre property for Alpine wild horses! See how there are still amazing people in this world?

Crystal and her husband are saving a beautiful family from this weekend’s auction and already had 8 from previous auctions, so she will have 13 Alpine wild horses running around, and that’s before she ever set herself up as a non profit!! Thank you for opening your heart and your home for Alpine wild horses Crystal! 💕

She is also saving 4 of the stallions, which are the most difficult ones to find homes for. SRWHMG will be paying for their geldings and then for the transport to her place. Her rescues will be having a layover at 4HoovesRanch, which is the next startup rescue facility we will highlight.
Without these new startup sanctuaries there is no way we would be able to save this many Alpine wild horses, and unfortunately there are more coming. Are there more people like Crystal to be found??

It is crazy expensive to feed 12 wild horses, so if you can support this beautiful place with a Christmas gift, or sponsor one of her Alpine wild horses, it will help with hay and get more fencing finished for them!! See link we posted above.

So while you may not know any of these places we are thanking, and they may not have beautiful websites or social media pages set up yet, by supporting them, we keep the Alpine wild horses from ending up on dinner plates abroad, and instead, they’ll be HOME for Christmas WITH their families. That is an honest to goodness Christmas Miracle.

Tomorrow we will be highlighting yet another startup sanctuary in Williams, Arizona and we will be filming the happy release and reunion of Eagar’s band there!!

Happy tears for these wild horses so callously removed from their home by the Apache Sitgreaves Forest Service and their contractor Rail Lazy H.
