Who is that on the MCSO 🛥 fan boat? Is it a horse?  It sure is!! It is our 🌹Rosy, one of our wildest 🐴Rescues.

Rosy needed desperate rescue because her mother Rosa, the oldest mare on the river, had died and now Rosy was starving! But she was across a fast-flowing 🏞 Salt River, and we could not swim across to get her the help she needed! So, our good friends at MCSO came to the rescue and we are so thankful for them.
It took our team 2 days to find her again, but only 5 minutes to load her, and 2 minutes to cross the river!

Rosy was in very bad shape, and she needed a lot of veterinary care, like IV’s and plasma; everyone was on pins and needles waiting to see if she would survive. Our volunteers 🛌slept in our foal barn with her.

So, if you can imagine, today’s 5️⃣th birthday celebration for Rosy is a special one. She is fully healthy today and she lives with her family band and always stays close to her best buddy Peanut, who was rescued just a few weeks earlier.
