Government, UPDATES

July 13th

Attention!! The Alpine wild horse auction at the Holbrook Fairgrounds has been cancelled for all currently posted sale dates of July 14th, July 20th and July 21st!!

Again, the Forest Service doesn’t let you know why, but we have kept a close eye on the trap area and we are pretty sure that they haven’t caught any horses. It’s sad that they couldn’t just let us know that earlier before we had our trailers hooked up, (it’s a 3 hour drive for us so we were going to spend the night) but it’s good news, regardless!

What this would mean is, they are still wild and free the way they should be. Thank you everyone for staying tuned and thank you AWHA for staying on top of checking the closed areas!
