Our first load of Alpine wild horses made it to #thewildhorserefuge!
June 25
Our first load of Alpine wild horses, all the mares without foals, have made it safely to #thewildhorserefuge !! Wild and free once more and forever!! We hope these pictures bring you as much peace as they do us, after all the efforts blood sweat and tears, this is soo sweet.
The rest of the horses from past two auctions, including stallions and bachelors and moms and foals are getting their health certificates this monday and then they will soon join them in several transports, which are very long drives!
What about the new auction? They did not ppstpone it and they did not give us any time, but we are doing our very best! We are still working on also saving Uno and his mares and more mares that were Majestic’s and Roman’s and Bears mares. We NEED the funds as the transport and coggins are soooo expensive!
Can we do it again?? We hope so!! We need $9000 this time as there are fewer horses in this auction.
Thank you Donor Angels for this happy ending for it would not be possible without you! ❤️
Thank you to The Wild Horse Refuge
Thank you to SRWHMG all the volunteers and to Simone and Destini running the show.
Thank you to our hardworking veteranarian, our hardworking transporters and thank you to our holding places and thank you caretaking and traveling volunteers, and thank you Alpine Wild Horse Advocates, who are in the Apache Forest counting any horses who are left in the forest and its not many!
It takes a lot, and even better than a village is our well oiled team of dedicated volunteers who are used to going the extra mile. Thank you everyone! 💕
