Poor little Peanut is at the vet!!
He was doing so great when all of a sudden he started having the squirts diarrhea (excuse the word) and running a fever. Since we do not want to take any risks with him, we brought him to the vet right away for bloodwork and bacterial testing. He is not deathly ill, but with these young ones you just cannot be too careful, because they can go downhill very fast. He is on some iv antibiotics and his fever came down already.
Prayers and good thoughts for little Peanut please!! (That’s still not his official name, but it fits him for now). We hope that he can come home as soon as possible!! His estimated vet bill for all of his tests and overnight stay is $2200! Urgh. But he is worth it. We will keep you updated!! Comon Peanut! SRWHMG.
